Your role in the team
Atea Managed Services consists of more than 1500 employees in five countries, delivering managed services from the whole IT infrastructure spectrum to customers in the Nordics and Baltics. We offer a place to develop your expertise and where each day offers new challenges to solve together with your colleagues and customers. As a Manager for Service Design in Atea you are responsible for a team that runs development, maintenance, and service life cycle management of all services in Atea Managed Services portfolio. Your team consists of 17 highly skilled Service Owners located in 13 Atea offices across Nordics & Baltics. You have a business-focused mindset and use your ability to provide standardized services to our customers.
You will have responsibility for tasks in the total service development life cycle, from providing technical input in idea generation, to executing service development and hand over the service for deployment, as well as executing continuous service reviews and create decision material to continue development or decommission. You report to the Innovation Director within Atea Managed Services, and as part of the Innovation Management Team, you contribute with your skills to the other managers in the team.

You use your results-oriented mindset to constantly improve services and our overall business. As a leader/coach, you are curious, and you achieve results by creating the right conditions for your employees and ensures continuous competence development. You lead the team virtually using modern tools, against your common goals and have the ability to see each individual and create commitment towards common goals. Since the work often requires quick decisions, personal qualities such as flexibility and a high energy level are very important. You like to work in an environment where no days are the same. To fit in with us, we believe that you love working in a team, you take personal responsibility, but firmly believe that we win as a team. You should also have the ability to understand and interpret numbers, service development models and understand how to practically implement strategies.
To success in the role as Manager Service Design you should have the following skills:
- Business-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English
- ITIL experience
- Human or interpersonal management skills
- Strategic thinking
- Excellent communication skills
Skills not mandatory, but desirable, are:
- Experience in agile project management methods such as Scrum e.g.
- Previous experience in the Service Provider business
